Burglary prevention
Door alarms and glass sensors can notify you when an uninvited intruder breaks into your rental unit. Receive an alert to your mobile device when an device triggers, or arm and disarm your devices remotely and let in guests or maintenance when you’re out.
Fire, flood, and safety alarms
Ordinary smoke detectors should come standard with your apartment or rental home, but you may not get other environmental detectors. Install a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or flood sensor to alert you and your monitoring team to problems before it’s too late.
Security cameras
A security cameras can be wirelessly installed so you can keep an eye on indoor rooms. A doorbell camera gives you the option to view -- and speak to -- whoever is at the door. See live HD feeds and notifications about suspicious movement through the Vivint App.
24-hour monitoring
A big benefit of using Vivint is the monitoring experts that respond to tripped alarms. When a sensor triggers, your monitoring experts immediately notifies you to make sure you’re safe. Then they’ll turn around and contact the fire or police departments.
Automation devices
Home automation components, like smart lighting, can be installed to make your rental home or apartment more eco-friendly. Some items like a smart thermostat or smart door locks may need prior landlord approval.
